Conceptual artist Nina Katchadourian started the Sorted Books series 20 years ago while staying in a home of a couple who had many un-likely repetitions in their library where the same book sat side by side as the owners joined rather than edited their personal libraries.  These repetitions on the bookshelf struck a new meaning, an example of which being the titles Repeat After Me/ Are You Confused?/ Are You Confused?.  This book documents the results of book sorting and re-organization and new meanings that Nina has found in private  libraries.  Nina has recently announced that she will be working with the private library of William S. Burroughs in 2014.
